KEP and myself just got back home from a Giants game tonight where they stuck it to the Dodgers with a 5-4 victory at home. We had some beers (one of which Cubby spilled on the dude in front of us after getting excited over a crucial giants 4-5-3 double play…it was cool, he was a Dodgers fan…) and passed out a bunch of stickers for our new little venture, dodgerhater.net.
Maybe we had some good luck from the ticket that Cubby got for his whip at the AT&T park bike valet. If you don’t understand, start listening to the Misfits immediately…

Rory is on his way to Cali and it’s his first time riding on an airplane. I always put in work at the airport bar before boarding to take the edge off myself, and those nyquil pills they sell at the news stand stores work wonders as well…

So, Phil Spector (legendary music producer who worked with the beatles, the ramones, ike and tina, etc and inventor of the “wall of sound” production technique) got convicted of murder the other day, for the 2003 shooting death of his girl, Lana Clarkson. Does this look like the crazy type of guy that would shoot someone? Naaaaaaaa…

Joey Cobbs and Jarrod Allen have a new colaberation, an online magazine called BAY ST. which is now up and running. There’s an awesome story about a gnarly tweaker whose life was saved by BMX and some really rad photos, including a couple of Kyle and Jake. Check it out:

Saw this dope little interview with artist Ron English over on The Wooster Collective. If you’re not familiar with Ron’s work, he gained notoriety for bombing billboards with his own commentary on corporate advertising, such as the ones below:
Ron also does some really sick painting/ silkscreen work with a pop-art style in the vein of a modern day Andy Warhol. Check out some more paintings and billboards RIGHT HERE and click on the pic below to check out the video…

I love getting these emails from Zac on his travels. You can take the boy outta nor-cal, but you can’t take the nor-cal outta the scumbag. I just talked to him on gmail chat and he said he’s off to Guatemala tomorrow. Keep it tight at the border homie. Here’s the unedited email he sent me. And if you don’t understand the first two lines, refer to the video at the bottom…

The streets of San Francisco are full of surprises indeed. Like many other major cities, you can often find furniture, clothes, books etc. left out on the streets. As i was walking home from the bar the other night i came upon a box of books and this one stood out as a winner. A question i often find myself asking…
