Maybe it’s cos i’ve been on a trip for the past 3 weeks that I missed these, or that i’m not much of a sneaker head, but when i walked into my local skateshop the other day, i was pretty psyched to see the SE/Vans Rad low tops.  They didn’t have my size, but i don’t plan on wearing em anyway. They were even on sale! They come with a matching brown suede padset for your bike too.  So sick.  Other than that, Manface took the victory at the latest First Rule/ Transparent BMX jam in San Francisco this past Saturday, making it the 2nd consecutive win at a SF jam by a Franchise rider. Word.  Zac, Kurtis and myself are off for interbike tomorrow to mix, mingle, blackout, etc.  Danny will be there representing the Village Peddler as well.  I’ll take some pics, but remember, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

Alright, so we finally got a dialed internet connection. Right now, Kyle and myself are hangin in sunny San Diego, waiting on $1 PBR happy hour at the bar down the street. They come with a free brown bag and everything. We had a great time in Pittsburgh at the Square One jam. Well, we had a great time until we woke up on Sunday morning in Potozcny’s front yard and kyle was missing the rest of his money for the trip from his wallet. Ya, you’d like to get robbed while you’re camping out at a BMX jam. Bullshit. But, we forged ahead, rode some sweet trails on the other side of Pittsburgh, watched some cheech and chong movies at Punjab’s and then headed west. We’ve seen Louisville, Nashville, Memphis, Austin, and the 100 degree heat of the southwest. And so, here we are, beaches, babes and beers. Big shoutouts to everyone at the hunk house, Punjab, Tony “the spanish fly” Cardona, and the Credence crew for being huge apes and cruising around in the veggie oil powered Mercedes van.

Oh ya, and the answer to the video contest is none other than count scrapula himself, Jimmy LeVan. Winners have been contacted and will be dialed in once I get back home and can make it to the post office. Here’s some photos of the Credence homies in PA. See you back in the Bay.

sorry for the lack of updates, but we just made it to a super market that has a wifi connection. After some car trouble in CT, we pulled a fast one on AAA, and got towed 170 miles to Bethlehem PA for free. Dialed. Trails in PA have been awesome. In a few minutes we’re off to pittsburg for the square one jam. Shit’s gonna be loose. Unfortunately, i can’t check myspace because it’s blocked here at the supermarket, so you guys who sent answers in for the video contest via myspace will have to wait it out til next time i can get back on the internet.
